Delete your Loqma account
You can delete your account yourself from inside the app, or ask us to do it for you. This page explains both, and exactly what is removed and what is kept.
Last updated 20 August 2026.
Delete it yourself, in the app
This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately. There is no waiting period and nobody reviews the request.
- Open the Loqma app and go to the Me tab.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is anonymised straight away and you are signed out.
If you have a bag reserved that you have not collected yet, the app will ask you to collect or cancel it first. A reservation is a commitment to a shop that has set food aside for you, so it has to be settled before the account can go.
Ask us instead, without the app
If you have uninstalled the app, changed phone number, or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you.
privacy@loqma.io
Write from any address and tell us the phone number the account uses. We will contact that number to confirm the request is really from you before deleting anything, because a deletion nobody can undo should never be possible from an email alone. Requests are completed within 30 days and normally within a few days.
What is deleted
Deletion is immediate and cannot be reversed. We do not keep a copy you can restore from, so if you sign up again later it is a new account with nothing carried over.
- Your name, phone number and email address are erased from your account record.
- Your saved shops and favourites.
- Your devices and push notification registrations, so no further notification can reach you.
- Your notification preferences and quiet hours.
- Every notification we have sent you.
- The text of any review you wrote. The star rating stays, with nothing linking it to you.
- Your referral code, and any invitation you sent or received.
- All sign-in sessions, including the network and device details attached to them.
- Any pending or ready data export, and the exported file itself.
- Any unused one-time sign-in codes for your number.
What is kept, and why
Two things survive deletion. We would rather say so plainly than claim a clean erase that is not true.
- The financial line of orders you already collected — what was sold, for how much, by which shop, on what date. Lebanese shops must keep evidence for the sales they invoice, and Loqma bills shops against those same records. Your name, phone and email are gone from them, so the line no longer identifies you.
- An internal audit record that a deletion happened and when. Without it we could not prove to you, or to a regulator, that we actually carried out your request.
Nothing else is retained. We do not keep a shadow profile, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone for advertising.
Take your data with you first
If you want a copy of your data, request an export before you delete. Deleting first destroys any export that is still pending, and afterwards there is nothing left to export. You will find Download my data in the same Me tab.
